Mermaid Dorian in sunny Key West for this introductory monofin course. Mermaiding is growing in a number of ways, as a fitness experience, a hobby, and as you can see, as a professional service.
In this course, designed for the advanced swimmer, we will go over the basics of swimming in a mermaid monofin. While it may look easy, swimming with your feet together can pose a challenge to even the most proficient swimmers, as it goes against how we are naturally taught to swim. Together we will practice forms of flotation, sinking, breathwork, and distance swims that support the specialized movement of a mermaid.
