Enjoy all of the wonderful activities of the 60 minute mermaid encounter, with an additional activity- crafting your own treasure coin necklace! Choose your favorite coin from our treasure dive, and embellish it with pearls, stones, charms, and a leather cord. You’ll look like a Keys local in no time! Enjoy this mermaid treasure as your own personal keepsake for years to come.
The 90 minute mermaid encounter allows extra time for games, photos, open swim, shipwreck storytime, in addition to the treasure necklace crafting activity.
All mermaid encounters are available from Key West to Miami, and together we can plan a mer-fect undersea adventure for your child’s birthday party, private event, or just a fun morning or afternoon in the island sun.

Join Mermaid Dorian on an under the sea discovery of mermaids, where your child will learn all about the amazing shipwrecks of the Florida Keys! With so much history and biodiversity, the Florida Keys are the perfect resting place for mermaids in the stream. Mermaid Dorian spends so much of her time frolicking in the waves, coming ashore on the New Moon, and studying humans by the artifacts on the sea floor. Mermaid Encounters are perfect for private parties, birthday parties, or just a fun afternoon in the sun! And not to worry, Mermaid Dorian will swim anywhere from Key West to Miami to entertain your little pod. Travel rates do apply, please inquire during booking.
When you just can’t get enough mermaid magic, the 120 minute mermaid encounter allows even more additional time for activities, games, and open swim! Enjoy all of the magic of the 60 & 90 minute mermaid encounters, plus an additional activity of your choice.
This means more time to make treasure coin necklaces for all your friends, add-on friendship bracelets, decorate your own starfish hair clip, or simply just extra time for handstands, mermaid races, and photos!

(Ambassador - Ages 18+)
In this 60 minute introductory course, you’ll learn ocean awareness and mermaid spirit while learning the fundamentals of aquatic confidence and marine stewardship.
We will begin with swimmer safety course and swim evaluation.
*All Mermaid Academy students must be able to swim independently and float on their stomach and backs, unassisted.
We will focus on assembly of the mermaid tail and mono fin, donning and ditching your tail, flotation and resting, and diver safety with a buddy.
Upon course completion, you’ll have the opportunity for a mermaid photoshoot in your tail and presentation of your Mermaid Academy Explorer Certificate!
Included in the package is your tail rental (with option to purchase), a Mermaid Academy T Shirt, and Certificate.

a magical mermaid experience for the Barefoot Bride
Designed specifically for Bachelorette Groups, “Last Splash” is our newest offering through Mermaid Academy.
In this all-inclusive mermaid experience, you and your girls will experience the true magic of the Florida Keys as you transform into magical mermaids. This two hour package is offered at $150.00 per person, six guest minimum.
